The protection of the privacy and personal information of our website visitors is of paramount importance to us. Server-Log-Files – Accessing Our Website

The provider of the web pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are e. g.

  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of accessing computer
  • Date and time of server request
  • IP address and the enquiring provider

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. A compilation of this data together with other data sources is not done. Otherwise the provider uses the log date only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, the security and optimisation of the website. Legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO. The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary in order to facilitate the delivery of the website to the users’ computer. Therefore the IP address of the user has to be stored for the duration of the website visit. The storage in log files takes place in order to ensure the functionality of the website. Furthermore, the data are used to optimise the website and to ensure the security of of information technology systems. No data evaluation for marketing purposes takes place in this context. Our legitimate interest in the data processing according to Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO lies in these purposes. The data are deleted when they are no longer required for achieving the purpose of their collection. If the data is collected for the provision of the website, this is the case when the website visit has ended.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose of its collection. The user's e-mail address will therefore be saved as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.

Subscription to the newsletter may be terminated at any time by the respective user. For this purpose, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter. This also allows a revocation of the consent to the storage of the personal data collected during the registration process.

Clever Reach

We use CleverReach for sending newsletters. The supplier is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede. With this service we can organise and analyse the newsletter distribution. Your data entered during the registration for the newsletter, such as your e-mail address, will be stored on CleverReach's servers. Server locations are Germany or Ireland.

Sending newsletters with CleverReach allows us to analyse the behavior of the newsletter recipient. The analysis shows, among others, how many recipients have opened their newsletter and how often links in the newsletter have been clicked. CleverReach supports conversion tracking to analyse whether following a click on a link a previously defined action has happened, such as a product purchase. The data processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. a DSGVO. A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. Order processing: In order to fully comply with the statutory data protection requirements, we have concluded a contract with CleverReach for order processing.

Contact Form / Contacting

When contacting us (for example via the contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), information provided by the user will processed for processing the contact request and working on it. User information can be stored in a Customer Relationship Management System ("CRM System") or comparable request organisation.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is, in the event of the consent by the user, Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. a DSGVO.

The legal basis for the processing of the data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the e-mail contact aims to conclude a contract, then an additional legal basis for the processing shall be Article 6, Paragraph 1 lit. b DSGVO.

The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us only to process making the contact. In the event of making contact via e-mail, this also is the necessary legitimate interest in the processing of the data.

The other personal data processed during the sending process are used to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection. For the personal data from the input form of the contact form and those sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended. The conversation ends when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

The user has the opportunity to revoke his consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If the user contacts us by e-mail, he may object to the storage of his personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot continue.

We maintain online presence within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services. Unless otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy / Data Protection Declaration, we process users' data if they communicate with us within social networks and platforms, e.g. write posts on our online presence or send us messages.

Collaboration with data processors

If you ask us for deletion of your data, then the data stored with us, taking into account the statutory provisions as well as storage periods as per the tax and commercial laws, are immediately locked and then deleted.

The personal data of the person concerned will be automatically deleted or locked as soon as the purpose of the storage lapses. Storage may also take place beyond this if provided for by the European or national legislator in Union regulations, laws or other regulations to which those responsible are subject. The data shall be locked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the above mentioned norms/standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for a conclusion of contract or a fulfillment of contract. The collection of the data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. There is consequently no possibility to object on the part of the user.
